This winter’s mild temperatures and important rainfalls favored the vine’s awakening unusually early. Summer’s heat waves and water stress gave rhythm to the grapes maturation. It showed through berry’s concentration, saving the balance of freshness and aromas. With an exceptional health state, bearing out its earliness of about ten days comparing to past vintages, the merlots were picked up from September 11th to 18th and the entirety of the cabernets sauvignon and franc and the petit verdot between September 21st and 30th. This vintage 2020 offers, once again, a complex aromatic range, floral and fruity. Its tannin is silky and elegant with a tight thread confers it all the attributes of a great bottle ageing.
